I am a Creative and Art Director, originally from Brazil and currently based in Portugal.

I have over 10 years of experience in visual creation and developing visual narratives for commercial and film projects.

 

My career in the audiovisual industry has been developed through experience across different roles and departments, allowing me to move fluidly between the conception and execution of a project. Today, I work both on shaping the aesthetic and visual language of campaigns and audiovisual projects as a CREATIVE DIRECTOR, and on bringing those ideas to life within the ART DEPARTMENT, working as a Production Designer, Art Director, Set Dresser, and Art Department Assistant.

I studied Design at the Federal University of Minas Gerais and studied Visual Communication at Politecnico di Milano at Master’s level. I later studied Film Directing and Production Design at the International Academy of Cinema. Throughout my career, I have worked on productions in Brazil, England, Portugal, and Spain, developing international experience and the ability to adapt to different production contexts, teams, and creative processes.

My most recent work as Art Director on Fishbrain received the award for Best Production Design – Short Film at the BFDG Production Design Awards. Other recent projects have also been selected for festivals including the BFI London Film Festival and MotelX – Lisbon International Horror Film Festival.
